ResumeFit is built on a simple principle: your personal data belongs to you. All data you enter into ResumeFit is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to, collected by, or accessible to the app developer.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
All profile data, job applications, and generated documents are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself using the app's share or export features.
ResumeFit requires you to provide your own API key from Anthropic
(Claude) or OpenAI. Your API key is stored exclusively in your device's secure
Keychain using Apple's security framework with the
kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly protection level.
Your API key is never transmitted to or stored by the app developer.
When you use ResumeFit to generate a resume or assess your qualification, your profile data and job description are sent directly from your device to the AI provider you have selected (Anthropic or OpenAI). This communication is governed by the respective provider's privacy policy:
The app developer has no access to these communications.
ResumeFit does not use any tracking technologies, advertising SDKs, or analytics frameworks. We do not track your behavior within the app.
ResumeFit is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
